At Double C Equine Veterinary Services, all services are provided on farm through our fully equipped ambulatory practice allowing your horse to receive high quality care in a familiar environment.

Dr. Leandra Cramer

DVM

Dr. Cramer earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Findlay in 2020 before pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 2025. Following veterinary school, she completed a year-long rotating equine internship at The Ohio State University, further advancing her clinical knowledge and hands-on experience in equine medicine and surgery.

During her internship, Dr. Cramer developed strong clinical and diagnostic skills while managing a wide variety of equine cases. She gained extensive experience treating medical and surgical emergencies, working with horses of all ages and disciplines, and collaborating with specialists to provide comprehensive, high-quality patient care. This intensive training strengthened her confidence in managing complex cases and reinforced her commitment to delivering exceptional veterinary care in the field.

Throughout her education and advanced training, Dr. Cramer discovered a particular passion for equine sports medicine. She enjoys helping equine athletes perform at their highest potential by focusing on lameness evaluations, performance optimization, injury prevention, and individualized treatment plans. As an ambulatory veterinarian, she is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care while building lasting relationships with horse owners and trainers to support the long-term health and performance of their horses.
